displays R.O. Dust & Co. Ltd. is one of a Group of companies owned and managed by Marc Littlewood.
From the original plant and tool hire division Marc has developed a number of other specialisations. One of these provides the testing laboratory originally dealing with equipment used in hazardous environments and decontamination but, more recently, specialising in the service, maintenance, repair and calibration / certification of hand held radar speed guns (vehicular, railway and sports uses) and other speed displays based on radar.
We have all the necessary equipment to service, repair, calibrate and certificate hand held radar speed guns and speed displays manufactured by Decatur and Sports Radar. We may also be able to handle speed guns from other manufacturers - contact Marc to discuss.
For hazardous environment equipment, the most appropriate test
equipment is sourced worldwide and is itself regularly tested and
certificated according to all manufacturers' instructions in order
to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service. Our
operatives are fully trained in the use of this equipment.

The maintenance of face masks and other respiratory protective
equipment (RPE) is a legal requirement under the COSHH Regulations
(1999), which states that RPE should be regularly tested, inspected
and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
R.O. Dust & Co. Ltd., offers the only independent test
laboratory facilities able to test and certify HEPA air filters and
equipment by the 'Condensate Nuclei Counting' technique, which has
been acknowledged by H. & S.E. and British Standard technicians
as the most accurate and reliable method of filter efficiency
testing.
From 1st. January 1987 all air extraction equipment and vacuum
cleaners used within the restrictions of the 'Work with Asbestos
Insulation and Asbestos Coating' 1987 draft regulations, should have
received a thorough six-monthly examination and test .
To meet these requirements we are able to offer the finest test
facilities, together with our unique documentation system, which
will allow the contractor to comply with the Health and Safety
Executive regulations. At the same time, equipment can be given a
complete overhaul from initial decontamination, service or repair,
and then finally be tested by the 'Condensate Nuclei' test procedure
to British Standards BS. 5415 section 2.2. 1986, supplement no.1.
The service records of customers' equipment are then noted, and a
reminder of imminent six monthly test expiry dates is automatically
sent to the customers one month in advance.
R.O. Dust & Co.Ltd. is located conveniently in the centre of the
country to allow fast and efficient turnaround of equipment; in
addition we can offer on site testing with OOP portable photometers
for large or bulky installations.
All HEPA filters and machines are returned with a comprehensive test
certificate, together with our unique machine card displaying the
expiry date and other essential information - this can be affixed to
the machine for the following six months as conclusive proof of the
machine's validity. In addition, we are able to supply security
seals to various machines which connect HEPA filters to motor units,
in order to show if internal contamination may have taken place.
